It's summer! FINALLY! And now you can put on those cute funky shorts you've been dying to put on all winter! lol Unless you live in LA of course... I don't live in LA so I have been wearing jeans, leggings and sweats for months...I can't wait to wear my cute shorts!!! I found a bunch of different shorts worn by various socialites that I think are perfect for summer!

I am absolutely DYING to go shopping! I thought that I'd share what I'm looking for with you guys! :]

First of all, I need some white jeans...why do I not have any!? I know, right?

I would also love to get a super funky scarf with a colourful bright top for summer!

I also can't wait to get a cute plaid shirt and little denim shorts! I have shorts in other colours, even plaid, but for some reason not denim. It is a tragedy! LOL

I need some more cute flowy tops that look good with boots and jeans or shorts.

Some new boots (flat) that are knee high. Incredibly sexy. Plus I love flats because you can always walk in them! :)

Aaaaannnddd, it is a tradition that everytime I go to the United States I buy new Chucks, lol! I don't know why I just do, so I must when I'm in Vegas!
Anyway! This stuff has been on my mind lately and it feels good to actually write here again! I've been watching alot of Sex and the City and I've caught the fashion bug! :)

Lady GaGa's Normal Fashion

Lady GaGa is definitely one of the most unique trendsetters there is. She's a little bit of Elton John, Madonna, Britney Spears, and David Bowie. Her style is so unique! Lady Gaga always goes on stage in outrageous outfits with outrageous hair to match! I thought to myself one day...does GaGa dress like that on her coffee runs or her shopping sprees? It turns out she does...so I then decided...could I find her actually wearing normal clothes?

Yes...but rarely! Here's what I found!

I think this is the most normal outfit I found her in. Her hair is pretty normal, her shoes are normal, etc. She looks really good! I love her in all her crazy get-ups, but I quite like her wearing a simple black dress! She looks fabulous!

This is still a little weird...but I like it! It's military chic? It's something alright! Looks cute with black boots and tights. Very cool and definitely still different!

Still crazy, but very cool! I love her leather pants and jacket! She looks like someone out of the Matrix! Her body is spectacular and this outfit really shows it off! Love tight stuff for sure!

This is a very nice dress indeed! Her hair is a tad odd (one of her signature looks), but the dress is pretty cute, and something I would definitely wear. I really prefer straps and not the halter look, but that's just me.

So that's really all I could find. She also doesn't like to wear pants very much either, haha! She is totally one of a kind! I'd have to say my favourite is the black dress she wore because it's so classic and she looks KILLER!

I hope you guys enjoyed this! Different seeing her look more normal! Next time I will do a post on her most OUTRAGEOUS looks! She is AMAZING! ♥

Britney's New Fashion Sense?

Recently, I have been most pleased with Britney Spears' fashion choices! I love her to bits, and respect her greatly, but she hasn't been known to be the best fashionista! Sometimes she wears some 'interesting' outfits, but nonetheless, she has been wearing more normal and cute outfits lately! I think she's adorable!

The boots are a little odd (she really loves these), but her yellow turtleneck sweater looks really cute on her! I love the colour choice! The ripped jeans are really cute too; I love me some ripped jeans, when done properly, and I think this works. Doesn't she look really adorable? She looks smaller height-wise, don'tcha think?

I love grey and black together; always a fabulous choice! The leggings and the black boots are great, and look really good with her long grey cardigan. Cute cute cute!

Classic, but it works! Wearing a simple t-shirt with jeans and some boots is so chic. It makes you look taller (obviously with the heels and all...), but she is glowing here! Thumbs up Brit Brit!
Britney Spears is absolutely beautiful and sometimes I don't think that she shows it with her choice of clothing. Lately though, I think she's been looking really good. What do you guys think? Would you wear any of these outfits?

YouTube Hair Help!

I thought that I'd do a post with different YouTube Videos that I like that will definitely help you with certain hair questions!!! I hope this will tie you over as I have had midterms and papers and such lately and no time for posting, but this is still going to be fun stuff! So enjoy!

I would like to travel to India to show you one of the most famous Bollywood Actresses in the world and one of the most famous women in the world too. Her name is Aishwarya Rai and she has earned the title of 'The Most Beautiful Woman in the World'. She has billions of fans worldwide and is a major fashion icon.

Aishwarya Rai is one of the most famous actresses in the world, and yet many North Americans wouldn't even know who she was. That is because she is one of the most famous Bollywood stars and many countries in the world know her as a household name. 'Ash', as her fans call her, won the 1994 Miss World competition which opened doors for her acting and singing career. She also happens to be married to one of the most famous actors in Bollywood, Abhishek Bachchan. Their fame is so great in India that they often need military to escort them to and from places, especially at their wedding. Slowly, Ash has started to become more known across the globe and in 2004 was named in Time's '100 Most Influential People'. She and her husband both appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2009 where I first learned about her!

Hot Spot: China Town

Hey everyone! I am finally posting! Haha! I am very excited to post finally because I actually have some time to do a post, lol, sort of... Anyway, I really wanted to talk about a fun fashion spot that I found that may be obvious to some people, but I just sort of clued in to it: China Town. So here it goes!

If you have a China Town in your city...GO! Not only do they have fun candy stores and nic nac shops, but they also have great stores to get great deals and trendy clothes in! One store in the China Town where I live has a little store that just sells footwear for women and they are all so cute! Anything you can think of...booties, flats, flat boots, boots with heels, cowboy boots, anything!!! The other part is...they are all decently priced too. And because I have really small feet (size 5, lol), they had my size! Everytime I go into stores for boots they always are sold out and only have the bigger sizes, so China Town really worked for me.

So I found these:

I found these cute suede black boots in a little shop in China Town. Cute, eh?

I found these 'leather' (not actual leather) black boots too and they are adorable. Just the right height I wanted!

So honestly, go down to China Town and look at the fun stuff. Even if you don't find any clothing, you're sure to find some awesome candy...I recommend Puccho. Friggin' delicious! I got both pairs of boots for $120.00 which I think is pretty damn cheap. You'll be surprised at what you can find in the most unlikely places!

Pretty in Plaid

It's fall, and it's time to buy something new...why not plaid? It's super cute and goes with...again, MANY THINGS! Having a simple plaid shirt is definitely something to add to your wardrobe or start wearing if you haven't been! Sometimes I think people think of plaid as being only for kilts and something that Scottish people wear...and it has to be some kind of combination of red...NO! NO! NO! Plaid can be any colour! It's really just a funky pattern!

Here are some celebs that show us that you can be pretty in plaid!

Miley Cyrus performing on Good Morning America wearing a plaid shirt with ruffles and denim shorts! The plaid shirt looks slightly more dressy than it would have looked due to the ruffles which looks super cute!

Hayden Panettiere wearing an 'aqua' coloured plaid shirt with Ugg-style boots and white shorts. This look is perfect for summer or fall, but because it is a chillier out there, the boots really work!

I love the way that Taylor Swift took a long plaid shirt and used the belt to make it a dress. Very cute and very simple to do!

Shakira wearing a long black and red plaid dress with black tights, booties, and a leather jacket. It's super funky and chic, and slightly different too. I love this look! It's edgy!

Vanessa Hudgens is wearing her plaid shirt in the normal fashion, but with her aviators and her skinny jeans, the look is complete!

I love how Lauren Conrad's shirt is tight and quite fitted to her body. It makes it more feminine because it's tight and because of the heels with the skinny jeans!

So there you go. I love this look...go out and buy a plaid shirt! They are everywhere it seems and in almost all colours! You are bound to find some at places like Aritzia, H&M, Forever 21, Macy's, etc.

Also...plaid isn't limited to shirts...try wearing plaid scarves too! ...that's for another post, haha! Have fun shopping!

Headbands! Headbands! Headbands!

I got a request to post about headbands...which are totally awesome! I love the look and it works with ANY hairstyle...whether you have short hair, long hair, straight hair, curly hair, layered hair, etc. It is truly the best accessory for your hair and can often solve the best of bad hair days. I ♥ them!

Here are some celebs wearing headbands in different ways!

Natalie Portman has short hair without any bands and by wearing a thin headband it really adds class to her look. She has a more 'fancy' look because of it! I also love how her hair is raised just a little bit just behind the headband.

This headband appears to be like two headbands, but it really is just one! Vanessa Hudgens has not only her bangs down, but also other pieces of her hair. Without the headband, it just wouldn't look the same!

Paris Hilton has short hair as well, but instead of putting it behind, she has gotten a loose headband to wrap around her head (not a plastic one). It reminds me of the hippy hairstyle, but it's actually quite cute! Especially because her headband is detailed and sparkly.

Here is a picture from Gossip Girl showing that this style of wearing a headband is quite preppy. I especially like it on Leighton Meester because her bangs come out and her hair is wavy. Extra preppy!

Yes, this is the standard way of wearing a headband, but Lauren Conrad has very long hair. See how it still works?

Miley Cyrus is wearing the headband wrapped around her head with a Rolling Stones t-shirt. Very vintage and very cute!

Paris Hilton looks very preppy and very pretty! The headband really adds to the look, eh?

Wearing a headband with your hair raised just a bit behind the headband like Reese Witherspoon is very cute. Have your hair flip a bit too to add to the look.

Paris Hilton has a pony tail with bangs and the headband she is wearing is a little thicker...still works!

This is one headband that Jessica Simpson is wearing, yet it looks like it could be more than two... Very cute for short hair and especially for updos!
So, if you really aren't into headbands, TRY THEM! They are super cheap and you can even buy them in packages with different kinds in them. They are so cheap, and even the simplest of headbands can really boost up your look and your confidence.

Glamorous Glasses!

I thought that I'd make a post about something I like to do. I love to wear fake glasses! As in...glasses without any prescription in them. Yes, some of you are probably thinking...WHY? lol, I know it sounds weird, but I think glasses are totally fun accessories and because I don't need to wear glasses, sometimes it's fun to wear them! I love the way I look in glasses! They make you look sophisticated and put-together!

Here are some examples of celebs wearing glasses! Whether they are fake or not, they seem to be having fun in them and they all look good! *Not all are candids! It's just to show you how cute glasses can be!*

If you don't own a pair of glasses real or not, GET SOME! They are soooo cute! Tween jewelery stores in your local mall are bound to sell some, or I've even seen Le Chateau sell them too. The prices that they're sold at are usually ~ $10-15...which is very cheap! You can also go into an eyewear store, like Lenscrafters and just buy the glasses without a prescription. That is more expensive because you pay for the frames, which depending on the brand can be expensive!

Try it out, see how you look in glasses! I think they are totally cute! :)

The One-Shoulder Look

Alright, I thought I'd talk about the whole 'One-Shoulder' look and the way I think it looks best. It was requested via Twitter a few weeks ago and I honestly don't know if this was what was wanted or if I took it the right way, lol, but here it is! The One-Shoulder look.

Okay, I love this look, especially with dresses. I think it's absolutely fabulous! However, I think it only looks good, when done properly. In the picture above, one of Miley's shoulders is completely covered which really defines the other shoulder and looks sexy! If you are going to do it (in my opinion), do it with most of your shoulder covered.

Don't just have one little strap...like this:

See, with that one, the strap is too small. It feels like something is needed...like more coverage. It's just too small. It's almost like she should have had two small straps instead of the one there. It looks lonely there all by itself. It seems like it is struggling to hold her boobs up! O.o;;

Now here is what you SHOULD do:

I think this look is a lot better for her. She just looks beautiful and the one-shoulder dress she has on looks polished and well put together.

You can also buy shirts with this look instead of dresses which looks really cute with jeans. This one is really cute and just works!

This look is not hard to find and can look good on anyone. You just need to decide what kind of 'One-Shoulder' look you want. Do you like the little strap? Go for it! It may look fantastic! I just like the other one better. The bigger the better in my opinion with this look.

Have fun finding shirts or dresses like this! It's very popular and I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding some!

World Fashion - Glukoza

Alright! Time to learn about someone else famous across the globe who many know about in Russia and the surrounding countries! :) I thought that this time I'd talk about Glukoza, a 23 year-old pop sensation in Russia!

Glukoza has appeared on the covers and been featured of several magazines including Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, Seventeen, InStyle, Hello, Elle Girl, Maxim, etc.

Glukoza is a popstar from Russia who reached popularity in 2003 when her single 'Nostra' reached the top of the Russian Music Charts. She has one many awards including one at the MTV Russian Music Awards (the RMA's). Her style of music is quite different when comparing it to North America. Her vocal style is very unique; you'll see that when you listen to her music. She doesn't have that many albums but has gained much success with the popular singles she has had. In 2008, she earned some North American fans (including myself!) when her song, "Schweine" was featured in Grand Theft Auto IV for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. I wanted to hear more of her music and discovered that I really liked it!

Hey everyone,

I just thought I'd talk about stuff for a change, I dunno, I feel like it. lol Anyway, as far as fashion goes, I wanted to sort of vent about people who judge you for how much money you spend on clothes. It drives me nuts! I hate when I spend money on a pair of jeans and then a friend of mine tells me I'm crazy or stupid. Why? First of all, who cares...I liked the jeans! And second of all, half the time people say stuff like that to me, they spend money on other things, like their car or stuff for school, etc, blah blah blah, whatever. Like, I have a friend who's pretty frugal, but he spent ~$300 on a messenger bag and then he says that I'm crazy for spending $50 on a shirt... Okay? lol, I dunno, it just sort of bugs me. In high school, I can remember walking in with a Juicy Couture shirt and 7 for all Mankind jeans and people looking at me like I was a freak because I was one of the only people wearing brands. I don't just wear brands, I love cheap stores and the Canadian Superstore (Joe) for clothes too, but I really enjoy fashion and fun brands. I don't just buy brands because they have a name, I buy them because I like them! Many kids didn't have brand name clothing and thought, "Oh, Mommy and Daddy must have bought you those." No, actually! I buy most of my clothes because I have a job! I hated it when my 'friends' would say stuff like that to me. I dunno, appearances can be deceiving I guess. Anyway, this is totally pointless, and I dunno why I am writing about it, but it was related to fashion, so yeah, LOL.

Even more so what bugs me is when people make fun of you for your music taste, and it's usually narrow-minded people anyway, but still, it's mean! I know I've gotten eyes rolled at me or people saying, "Really? You actually like Britney Spears?" UMMMMM...YES! Actually I do! I also don't just like pop music, I like alot of other genres. I dunno. Don't be afraid to tell people what kind of music you like, because people don't like it they are going to have to deal with it and you should just brush it off your shoulder. Don't let people be mean to you, walk away. Don't take it to heart. I use to, and it use to drive me nuts. Don't let that bother you. Be proud of the music you like!

I love Uggs because you can wear them with anything and when it's cold, they are not only cute, but practical! Instead of wearing sneakers, wear Uggs to keep your feet warm for the winter! Especially if you have to wait outside for a bus or do any walking outside in the winter months of the year...Uggs help! Trust me!

The average price for the Classic Tall Uggs are around $180 USD or $300 CDN (ARGH, right?) Yes, they are pricey...but would you rather freeze in your sneaks or be totally warm and stylish in your Uggs? I dunno, I think it's worth the money. EMU boots are a tad cheaper and I've been told they are almost exactly the same! Have fun finding cute Uggs! I have Chocolate and Chestnut coloured Uggs myself, and they are one of the best investments I've made, LOL. :)

Concert Tour Style - Beyoncé

This is the second segment of my Concert Tour Style! This week, we are going to look at Ms. Beyoncé Knowles! :) These outfits are from her 2009 tour.

I love this outfit she has for her tour! Very simple, but it has beautiful designs on it! :) If you like this, try getting a tight cute black sweater dress with sparkly jewelery!

This one is very similar to Britney's gold metal outfit! All of the main popstars tend to have similar outfits! I love it though; with her curves, it totally works. Again, if you wanted the look, you could get a gold top that showed your cleavage like that...or you could get a pretty gold bathing suit for the beach!

A very wearable outfit for sure! Many dresses like this, or you can get a shirt and tuck it into a pencil skirt. Works for 'work' or for school. Anywhere. Love this look!

Definitely my favourite costume she has! Very MJ or Janet Jackson, eh? I love it. Not exactly wearable, but a very fun Halloween costume for sure.

Beyoncé tends to use a lot of outfits that are similar to the one-piece bathing suit which shows off her long toned legs and her incredible figure in general. She also loved glitter and sparkles, which looks great on stage, but can also look good on simpler outfits! So check it out, or find some fun bathing suits, haha!

Concert Tour Style - Britney Spears

I thought it would be fun to do segments on Concert Tour Styles. Are they wearable for everyday life...or are these just 'runway' styles and can only be worn as a performer or a model? Depending on the artist, it really depends. Let's look and see at our featured artist this week, Britney Spears.

I am just focusing on her 'Circus' Tour this time, but I will definitely add some segments on her past tours as well. She is always sexy on the stage, so let's see what she has been wearing this year.

Hmmmm, well...this one is not exactly appropriate to wear to school or as 'casual' wear, haha, but the boots are definitely wearable. To get this look, I'd suggest buying a gold one-piece bathing suit or a gold skin tight t-shirt with perhaps a black jacket to go over top with leggings and black boots! The other way to do something similar would be to get a little gold dress with leggings or not and wear boots or black flats.

For this look, you are probably going to have to stick to lingerie...but that's okay! What's wrong with having a sexy outfit like that for Mr. Right?

This reminds of girl guides or scouts. There are many cute fall jackets that have that 'cargo' look that you can pair with some jeans or a jean skirt to be even sexier. Then add some cute boots or flats, and you're set!

This one is tricky... There are outfits like this to buy no doubt, but you probably wouldn't want to wear them! I suggest getting a cute headband like Britney's, even one with some sparkles on it, clothes in general with some kind of sparkle or glitter! Little golden flats are cute, and so are very sparkly necklaces.

Ahh, finally, the true 'Ringmaster' outfit. I suppose you could wear this out, like Paula Abdul did on David Letterman, but I'd suggest getting a little military jacket with similar buttons and cute boots.

Soooo...the verdict? I would say unwearable. Most of Britney's outfits are 'costumes' and not everyday outfits. You can take bits and pieces from each costume though and build your own cute outfit. You may want to wear pants with your outfits too! Haha, because most of her outfits she is wearing shiny undies! =] But hey, take a look at some of her stage styles and see if you can create your own look!

World Fashion - Ayumi Hamasaki

I thought that it would be fun to talk about fashionistas around the globe, not just in North America! I really love Japan, and one of the biggest pop icons there is Ayumi Hamasaki. If you do not know anything about 'Ayu', let me share some basic info!

Ayumi Hamasaki swarmed by paparazzi, similar to stars in the US!

Ayumi Hamasaki is one of the best selling artists in Japan having sold over 50 million albums. She was also the first female singer to have eight studio albums since her debut to top the Oricon and the first artist to have an album debut at number one for 11 consecutive years! She is known for having an interesting style sense and has won many awards for her appearance and not just for her talent as a musician. When people think of J-Pop (what Japanese pop music is called), they think of Ayu (as her fans like to call her). It is not hard to find her when picking up an issue of Vogue Japan or watching a cellphone commercial or a car commercial; she promotes everything! Even lingerie! Another interesting fact is that in 2006 she was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease which caused her to become deaf in one ear. Despite the loss of half of her hearing, she still continues to write music and tour all across Asia every year.

Her tours are very elaborate with huge sets, fire, dancers, and even Ayu flying in the air.

I decided to talk about Ayumi Hamasaki because I felt that she is a major icon in the other side of the world, so why not share her fashion with you! She is so famous in Asia, but not in North America and there are artists that are famous in Russia that are famous there or in Italy that are not famous in North America, yet so many people in the world know about them and look at them as style icons.

Well there you have it. I love Ayumi Hamasaki, she is fabulous. Her music is great and she is a phenomenal performer!

What Shirt Should I Wear Wear With My _______?

Alrighty, this will definitely be an 'interesting' post! =] This post will cover which styles of t-shirts to wear with different bottoms and also, which sizes are best to buy! I have a few things that I would like to cover on this...so here it goes!

Which Size Should I Get?

Well, most people know approx. what size of shirts to get. If you are very petite, you are obviously not going to be looking in the XXL section...however, many girls want to lose weight and are not happy with their bodies and buy the size they WANT and not the size that looks BEST for their body. If you continuously buy the size that is too small and the size that you WISH you were, you won't be encouraged to lose the weight you want to, and you won't look very good. If a 'medium' looks better than the 'small', don't buy the small! It's as simple as that!

Tip #1: Don't look at the size of the item, just look at the item itself. Pick up the shirt and put it up to your body, if it looks like it will fit...try it on! Don't me mad if it is a 'small' and you're usually an 'extra small'.

Tip #2: Remember that all brands of clothing size differently. Just because you are an 'XS' at Abercrombie & Fitch, doesn't mean you are going to be that with an American Apparel shirt. I have a lot of clothes and they don't go from XS to XL, but they do very from XS to S to M, whatever. Every store is different.

Tip #3: When you buy clothes that are too small for you, they are uncomfortable, sometimes shrink even more (so now you can't wear them at all), and do not look flattering.

Tip #4: Sometimes girls buy clothes that are too big for them which is also not a good idea. It's OK to buy shirts that over sized in a trendy way, buy to constantly buy clothes that are baggy and hide your figure is not cool either! Girls do it to 'hide' their figure...but it makes them stand out even more. When you buy clothes that fit, life is alot easier!!!

What Styles of Shirts go with my skinny jeans or my baggy sweats, etc?

If you can pull off a tight graphic tee, or just a plain white t-shirt that is kind of tight...wear it! Tight t-shirts look good with all bottoms. If you have a tight tank top, it always looks good with baggy sweats, skinny jeans and boots, flats, Uggs etc, boot cut or flared jeans with heels, or Converse, and jean skirts or shorts with flip flops or flats (even boots too!). Honestly, anything works. I have soooo many t-shirts that go with all of my pants and shorts.

Now, then there are more dressy shirts that you can wear that are not skin tight. You can get empire waist shirts that flow out where your tummy is so that you do not see any 'flaws'. Also, wearing longer 'shirts' with a belt is super cute too and they can be longer. With longer shirts, I like skinny jeans with boots or flats, or you can wear leggings with boots.

If you have a track suit, wearing a fun t-shirt underneath it and having it be a little bit too long looks cute too so you can see the two colours together.

T-shirts that are a little bit too long look cute with short shorts because you wear them just so you can see a little bit of your shorts, which is really cute and sexy! Also, wearing long t-shirts (baggy or tight) with leggings is the best because you get to show off your curves, but in a more modest way. You aren't showing tons of skin, but you still get to show off your legs! Plus I love the baggy pullovers from American Apparel because, not only are they comfortable, but they are super cute with soooo many different types of shoes.

Honestly, I can only write so much, you have to go and try things on to suit your body. Everyone is different and all brands are different, especially jeans. You might be a 25 with one brand, a 24 with another, and then a 27 with another! Buy clothes that fit your body NOW not what you want your body to be...because you may never lose the weight, or gain the weight, whatever. Live in the moment. It will only boost your confidence even more.

Miley Cyrus
I love this top because it's long, but it's not a 't-shirt' which gives it a dressy feel. It's full of colour and even though it's long, it doesn't just hang there, it fits and hugs your curves! ♥

Jessica Alba
This t-shirt is really long but because she's wearing it with boyfriend jeans, it gives the slouchy look some glam! And the scarf really adds to the outfit! Very cute!

Miley Cyrus
Wearing a tight plain shirt (especially white because it goes with anything) is the best investment! In the summertime, take advantage of the weather and wear it with short shorts, whether it is with boots or flip flops...very cute.

Hilary Duff
This shirt has a design, like the shirt of Miley's a few above, but it appears to flow out even more. Having shirts like these are great because they give a slimming look especially if you are a bigger girl. The don't hug your body, but they do enough to be simply fabulous!

Vanessa Hudgens
With this, get two t-shirts, one that's a little long, perhaps a bigger size, and cover it with a smaller sized t-shirt with a graphic on it. It's very cute, especially with the Uggs like Vanessa has on. You can do the double t-shirt thing with almost anything, this is just one example. You can even do the opposite. Wear a really tight shirt and then put a baggy on over top of it! Very cute!

Miley Cyrus
Simple, yet sooooo cute. Get yourself a good pair of sweatpants and wear a fitted white tank with them! Best part is, you can still wear a baggy hoodie or a baggy shirt and it still looks cute.

Selena Gomez
I love this look because it isn't hard to do and it is really cute. You just need a nice 'shirt' and a skinny or a fat belt to wrap around the shirt, and voila! You are done! Just pair it with some leggings or skinny jeans with some boots and you're set!

Vanessa Hudgens
Here we have a t-shirt and jeans, but instead, the t-shirt is quite loose and almost covers the entire pair of shorts! It's almost like a reallllly mini dress, but you're still wearing shorts so no worries!

Just because it looks good on Paris Hilton, doesn't mean it will look good on you and vice versa! Just because it looks good on you...doesn't mean it will look good on Paris Hilton! Buy for YOU.

I absolutely love boots, probably my favourite kind of shoes! They are especially popular among the stars in every style, shape, and form. Name any celeb, and you can easily find them in boots! The best part is, depending on where you look, you can totally find cute boots, especially for autumn that go with dresses, shorts, leggings, and jeans. They keep you warm (especially with Uggs!!!) and are very trendy! They can also spice up an outfit instantly. If you have just a hoodie and jeans...instead of wearing it with Converse Chuck Taylors or sneakers, wear it with boots that match! Boots can really transform a drab outfit into something very cute and stylish. You can take the most simple outfits and turn them into very cute and trendy ones.

Honestly, go to the mall and go to all the shoe stores. You are bound to find a good deal or something for a great price and that is super cute! I live in Canada and can think of alot of stores that I don't think are in the United States...and I am not sure how many Canadians are looking at this! haha, but online websites are great for finding shoes as long as you KNOW it fits! I suggest going into a store first hand, trying on the shoes you want and then finding them on an online store, like Revolve Clothing for instance, and getting them at a cheaper price. Even check out clothing stores that will sometimes sell boots because hey, they might just be the ones! I have gotten cute boots for cheap prices at places like Payless that could pass as a much more expensive boot. If you wear clothes that look good with boots that are even $30, you can get a great look!

If it is really snowy or muddy outside...then don't wear your white boots and white pants! But if it is a gorgeous September day...why not wear those white pants you love so much!

With school just starting up again, sometimes you just don't feel like putting together a fabulous outfit, and instead, throw a hoodie on. The best part is, you can still wear hoodies and look great! They are comfortable for going to school, youthful, and very fun!

My Favourite Jeans

If you are trying to find a good pair of skinnies or just in general, a good pair of jeans, you'll love J Brand! They are a favourite among celebs, including Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, Rihanna, and Cameron Diaz. Almost anybody who's anybody is wearing J-Brand and with fall starting up and boots being the latest trend, they are a great jean to have. J Brand has styles in any variety, from a super flare to straight leg, to ultra skinny. If you've got booty and want to flaunt it, these are also great jeans!

I have the 912 Pencil and I wear mine with flat boots, boots with a heel, Uggs, flats, and Converse. They are one of my favourite pairs of jeans because they look great, and I can wear them with all of my shoes!

Tribute to Michael Jackson with a Shirt

After hearing the incredibly shocking news of Michael Jackson's death, I just had to get an MJ shirt. He's one of my ultime favourite artists so I thought now is the time to rock an MJ shirt to remember him. There were so many shirts to do with Michael Jackson that had CD covers on them, or his name, or just random things that didn't speak to me. One of my favourite Michael Jackson songs is 'Bad' and he appears to say 'Shamon' in it 7 times (haha, I counted). I thought it would be really original to get a shirt with Shamon on it, one that nobody had! It's also really cute in the sense that on the 'A' there is a little fedora to also hint what the shirt is talking about. Anyway, it's a really fun shirt to wear and I rock out to 'Bad' in it, haha. I usually wear it with leggings or jeans with my Steve Madden boots! As far as graphic tees go, I love this one! Definitely one of my favourite graphic tees that I own.

I bought this shirt in July, and I just looked, and it doesn't seem to be available in black now, but I found a vintage version of the shirt here at CafePress. Check it out! There are other cool MJ shirts there and on other sites, but I thought this one was super cool! :)

Zac Efron Has Style!

I know this blog is catered towards women, but I just had to rant about Zac Efron's style! I absolutely love it! I think it's because it's sooo simple! He looks incredibly sexy just just by wearing a t-shirt and jeans! Don't get me wrong, the man is good-looking in no matter what he wears, but his best looks are very simple ones. By wearing plain t-shirts, or plaid shirts, or even simple American Apparel hoodies, it really shows off his body. His jeans on the other hand are far from simple, they are always the best brands and are usually quite tight and slim. When it comes to footwear, Converse and Vans are a great choice as they too are simple, but very trendy!

I found a shirt similar to the one Zac is wearing from Urban Outfitters here for $49.99 and some similar jeans by Kill City here for $132.00!

I guess since this is mainly for girls, you guys can use this on your boyfriends, haha!

Fall Trend - Sweater Dresses

I absolutely LOVE sweater dresses and I found a few that are online now, and mostly affordable! Many stars, like Selena Gomez, are wearing them and they can be appropriate for almost any occassion! You can wear them to school, to work, to parties...and well, almost anywhere! Not only are they comfy they keep you warm in the winter, which is great because they allow you to still be able to wear a 'dress' even when it is cold outside. Depending on the type of sweater dress, you can wear them with boots (flat or with a heel), booties or high heels. Depending on what you wear with it (necklaces, earrings, scarves), you can turn your sweater dress from casual to glam instantly!

Here are a few that I found, but I am always on the lookout for more great sweater dresses! They are one of my favourite styles!

This dress that I found is a T by Alexander Wang Stretch Dress. It is not really a 'sweater dress', but if you wear it with tights or leggings with a pair of boots, you get the look. Wearing a necklace like this Chanel one here would look adorable!

Check out this cute scarf I got while in the mall a few days ago! ...it was $4.99!!! I was just looking for a checkered scarf and I picked this one up and saw that the price tag was $4.99! It was like they were basically asking me to get it!

I got it at Le Chateau and it's super cute with plain t-shirts or even plaid shirts!

I checked the website, and it doesn't look like it is for sale there, so if you wanted to try and find it, you'd have to go in store. But I just bought it on Friday, so you shouldn't have any troubles!

Long Summer Dresses In Odd Places?

If you are a brand name person and only shop at expensive stores...you are definitely missing out! If you like the long summer dresses (like the one on Miley here), you should check out the 'cheaper' stores in your local mall. Besides the obvious choice of Forever XXI to get high fashion at low prices, check out the less obvious places like Sirens, Stitches, and Urban Planet. You'd be surprised at what you can find! For me, it is hit and miss, but when you do find something, it can be a GREAT deal. Because summer is almost over, go in a few of the cheaper stores because they may still have some of their great long summer dresses left at even CHEAPER prices. I bought a long pink dress like Miley's there at Sirens for $29.99 that looks marvelous! Don't be discouraged when going into stores like that because chances are, 80% of the stuff will be clothing you hate, but hidden in these stores are precious gems!

All I am saying is don't count it out. You may be very happy with what you can find if you spend some time. It's kind of like going to a second hand store, you have to look deep and look hard, but eventually, you'll find something amazing!

I definitely had to buy me a Tri-Blend Light Weigh Raglan Pullover from American Apparel! It's comfortable, reminds you of the 80's and works with anything. It's the perfect shirt for those days when you just don't know what to wear! Pair it with skinny jeans and a nice pair of boots, or sweats and Uggs. Anything works! It comes in many different colours, so you are not limited by any means!
