Lady GaGa's Normal Fashion

Lady GaGa is definitely one of the most unique trendsetters there is. She's a little bit of Elton John, Madonna, Britney Spears, and David Bowie. Her style is so unique! Lady Gaga always goes on stage in outrageous outfits with outrageous hair to match! I thought to myself one day...does GaGa dress like that on her coffee runs or her shopping sprees? It turns out she does...so I then decided...could I find her actually wearing normal clothes?

Yes...but rarely! Here's what I found!


I think this is the most normal outfit I found her in. Her hair is pretty normal, her shoes are normal, etc. She looks really good! I love her in all her crazy get-ups, but I quite like her wearing a simple black dress! She looks fabulous!


This is still a little weird...but I like it! It's military chic? It's something alright! Looks cute with black boots and tights. Very cool and definitely still different!


Still crazy, but very cool! I love her leather pants and jacket! She looks like someone out of the Matrix! Her body is spectacular and this outfit really shows it off! Love tight stuff for sure!


This is a very nice dress indeed! Her hair is a tad odd (one of her signature looks), but the dress is pretty cute, and something I would definitely wear. I really prefer straps and not the halter look, but that's just me.

So that's really all I could find. She also doesn't like to wear pants very much either, haha! She is totally one of a kind! I'd have to say my favourite is the black dress she wore because it's so classic and she looks KILLER!

Britney's New Fashion Sense?

Recently, I have been most pleased with Britney Spears' fashion choices! I love her to bits, and respect her greatly, but she hasn't been known to be the best fashionista! Sometimes she wears some 'interesting' outfits, but nonetheless, she has been wearing more normal and cute outfits lately! I think she's adorable!


The boots are a little odd (she really loves these), but her yellow turtleneck sweater looks really cute on her! I love the colour choice! The ripped jeans are really cute too; I love me some ripped jeans, when done properly, and I think this works. Doesn't she look really adorable? She looks smaller height-wise, don'tcha think?


I love grey and black together; always a fabulous choice! The leggings and the black boots are great, and look really good with her long grey cardigan. Cute cute cute!


Classic, but it works! Wearing a simple t-shirt with jeans and some boots is so chic. It makes you look taller (obviously with the heels and all...), but she is glowing here! Thumbs up Brit Brit!
Britney Spears is absolutely beautiful and sometimes I don't think that she shows it with her choice of clothing. Lately though, I think she's been looking really good. What do you guys think? Would you wear any of these outfits?

YouTube Hair Help!

I thought that I'd do a post with different YouTube Videos that I like that will definitely help you with certain hair questions!!! I hope this will tie you over as I have had midterms and papers and such lately and no time for posting, but this is still going to be fun stuff! So enjoy!

World Fashion - Aishwarya Rai

I would like to travel to India to show you one of the most famous Bollywood Actresses in the world and one of the most famous women in the world too. Her name is Aishwarya Rai and she has earned the title of 'The Most Beautiful Woman in the World'. She has billions of fans worldwide and is a major fashion icon.

Aishwarya Rai is one of the most famous actresses in the world, and yet many North Americans wouldn't even know who she was. That is because she is one of the most famous Bollywood stars and many countries in the world know her as a household name. 'Ash', as her fans call her, won the 1994 Miss World competition which opened doors for her acting and singing career. She also happens to be married to one of the most famous actors in Bollywood, Abhishek Bachchan. Their fame is so great in India that they often need military to escort them to and from places, especially at their wedding. Slowly, Ash has started to become more known across the globe and in 2004 was named in Time's '100 Most Influential People'. She and her husband both appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2009 where I first learned about her!

Hot Spot: China Town

Hey everyone! I am finally posting! Haha! I am very excited to post finally because I actually have some time to do a post, lol, sort of... Anyway, I really wanted to talk about a fun fashion spot that I found that may be obvious to some people, but I just sort of clued in to it: China Town. So here it goes!

If you have a China Town in your city...GO! Not only do they have fun candy stores and nic nac shops, but they also have great stores to get great deals and trendy clothes in! One store in the China Town where I live has a little store that just sells footwear for women and they are all so cute! Anything you can think of...booties, flats, flat boots, boots with heels, cowboy boots, anything!!! The other part is...they are all decently priced too. And because I have really small feet (size 5, lol), they had my size! Everytime I go into stores for boots they always are sold out and only have the bigger sizes, so China Town really worked for me.

So I found these:


I found these cute suede black boots in a little shop in China Town. Cute, eh?


I found these 'leather' (not actual leather) black boots too and they are adorable. Just the right height I wanted!

So honestly, go down to China Town and look at the fun stuff. Even if you don't find any clothing, you're sure to find some awesome candy...I recommend Puccho. Friggin' delicious! I got both pairs of boots for $120.00 which I think is pretty damn cheap. You'll be surprised at what you can find in the most unlikely places!

Pretty in Plaid

It's fall, and it's time to buy something new...why not plaid? It's super cute and goes with...again, MANY THINGS! Having a simple plaid shirt is definitely something to add to your wardrobe or start wearing if you haven't been! Sometimes I think people think of plaid as being only for kilts and something that Scottish people wear...and it has to be some kind of combination of red...NO! NO! NO! Plaid can be any colour! It's really just a funky pattern!

Here are some celebs that show us that you can be pretty in plaid!


Miley Cyrus performing on Good Morning America wearing a plaid shirt with ruffles and denim shorts! The plaid shirt looks slightly more dressy than it would have looked due to the ruffles which looks super cute!


Hayden Panettiere wearing an 'aqua' coloured plaid shirt with Ugg-style boots and white shorts. This look is perfect for summer or fall, but because it is a chillier out there, the boots really work!


I love the way that Taylor Swift took a long plaid shirt and used the belt to make it a dress. Very cute and very simple to do!


Shakira wearing a long black and red plaid dress with black tights, booties, and a leather jacket. It's super funky and chic, and slightly different too. I love this look! It's edgy!


Vanessa Hudgens is wearing her plaid shirt in the normal fashion, but with her aviators and her skinny jeans, the look is complete!


I love how Lauren Conrad's shirt is tight and quite fitted to her body. It makes it more feminine because it's tight and because of the heels with the skinny jeans!

So there you go. I love this look...go out and buy a plaid shirt! They are everywhere it seems and in almost all colours! You are bound to find some at places like Aritzia, H&M, Forever 21, Macy's, etc.

Also...plaid isn't limited to shirts...try wearing plaid scarves too! ...that's for another post, haha! Have fun shopping!

Headbands! Headbands! Headbands!

I got a request to post about headbands...which are totally awesome! I love the look and it works with ANY hairstyle...whether you have short hair, long hair, straight hair, curly hair, layered hair, etc. It is truly the best accessory for your hair and can often solve the best of bad hair days. I ♥ them!

Here are some celebs wearing headbands in different ways!


Natalie Portman has short hair without any bands and by wearing a thin headband it really adds class to her look. She has a more 'fancy' look because of it! I also love how her hair is raised just a little bit just behind the headband.


This headband appears to be like two headbands, but it really is just one! Vanessa Hudgens has not only her bangs down, but also other pieces of her hair. Without the headband, it just wouldn't look the same!


Paris Hilton has short hair as well, but instead of putting it behind, she has gotten a loose headband to wrap around her head (not a plastic one). It reminds me of the hippy hairstyle, but it's actually quite cute! Especially because her headband is detailed and sparkly.


Here is a picture from Gossip Girl showing that this style of wearing a headband is quite preppy. I especially like it on Leighton Meester because her bangs come out and her hair is wavy. Extra preppy!


Yes, this is the standard way of wearing a headband, but Lauren Conrad has very long hair. See how it still works?

Paris Hilton looks very preppy and very pretty! The headband really adds to the look, eh?


Wearing a headband with your hair raised just a bit behind the headband like Reese Witherspoon is very cute. Have your hair flip a bit too to add to the look.


Paris Hilton has a pony tail with bangs and the headband she is wearing is a little thicker...still works!


This is one headband that Jessica Simpson is wearing, yet it looks like it could be more than two... Very cute for short hair and especially for updos!
So, if you really aren't into headbands, TRY THEM! They are super cheap and you can even buy them in packages with different kinds in them. They are so cheap, and even the simplest of headbands can really boost up your look and your confidence.

Glamorous Glasses!

I thought that I'd make a post about something I like to do. I love to wear fake glasses! As in...glasses without any prescription in them. Yes, some of you are probably thinking...WHY? lol, I know it sounds weird, but I think glasses are totally fun accessories and because I don't need to wear glasses, sometimes it's fun to wear them! I love the way I look in glasses! They make you look sophisticated and put-together!

Here are some examples of celebs wearing glasses! Whether they are fake or not, they seem to be having fun in them and they all look good! *Not all are candids! It's just to show you how cute glasses can be!*

If you don't own a pair of glasses real or not, GET SOME! They are soooo cute! Tween jewelery stores in your local mall are bound to sell some, or I've even seen Le Chateau sell them too. The prices that they're sold at are usually ~ $10-15...which is very cheap! You can also go into an eyewear store, like Lenscrafters and just buy the glasses without a prescription. That is more expensive because you pay for the frames, which depending on the brand can be expensive!

Try it out, see how you look in glasses! I think they are totally cute! :)

The One-Shoulder Look

Alright, I thought I'd talk about the whole 'One-Shoulder' look and the way I think it looks best. It was requested via Twitter a few weeks ago and I honestly don't know if this was what was wanted or if I took it the right way, lol, but here it is! The One-Shoulder look.

Okay, I love this look, especially with dresses. I think it's absolutely fabulous! However, I think it only looks good, when done properly. In the picture above, one of Miley's shoulders is completely covered which really defines the other shoulder and looks sexy! If you are going to do it (in my opinion), do it with most of your shoulder covered.

Don't just have one little strap...like this:

See, with that one, the strap is too small. It feels like something is needed...like more coverage. It's just too small. It's almost like she should have had two small straps instead of the one there. It looks lonely there all by itself. It seems like it is struggling to hold her boobs up! O.o;;

I think this look is a lot better for her. She just looks beautiful and the one-shoulder dress she has on looks polished and well put together.


You can also buy shirts with this look instead of dresses which looks really cute with jeans. This one is really cute and just works!

This look is not hard to find and can look good on anyone. You just need to decide what kind of 'One-Shoulder' look you want. Do you like the little strap? Go for it! It may look fantastic! I just like the other one better. The bigger the better in my opinion with this look.
