Concert Tour Style - Britney Spears

I thought it would be fun to do segments on Concert Tour Styles. Are they wearable for everyday life...or are these just 'runway' styles and can only be worn as a performer or a model? Depending on the artist, it really depends. Let's look and see at our featured artist this week, Britney Spears.

I am just focusing on her 'Circus' Tour this time, but I will definitely add some segments on her past tours as well. She is always sexy on the stage, so let's see what she has been wearing this year.


Hmmmm, well...this one is not exactly appropriate to wear to school or as 'casual' wear, haha, but the boots are definitely wearable. To get this look, I'd suggest buying a gold one-piece bathing suit or a gold skin tight t-shirt with perhaps a black jacket to go over top with leggings and black boots! The other way to do something similar would be to get a little gold dress with leggings or not and wear boots or black flats.


For this look, you are probably going to have to stick to lingerie...but that's okay! What's wrong with having a sexy outfit like that for Mr. Right?


This reminds of girl guides or scouts. There are many cute fall jackets that have that 'cargo' look that you can pair with some jeans or a jean skirt to be even sexier. Then add some cute boots or flats, and you're set!


This one is tricky... There are outfits like this to buy no doubt, but you probably wouldn't want to wear them! I suggest getting a cute headband like Britney's, even one with some sparkles on it, clothes in general with some kind of sparkle or glitter! Little golden flats are cute, and so are very sparkly necklaces.


Ahh, finally, the true 'Ringmaster' outfit. I suppose you could wear this out, like Paula Abdul did on David Letterman, but I'd suggest getting a little military jacket with similar buttons and cute boots.

Soooo...the verdict? I would say unwearable. Most of Britney's outfits are 'costumes' and not everyday outfits. You can take bits and pieces from each costume though and build your own cute outfit. You may want to wear pants with your outfits too! Haha, because most of her outfits she is wearing shiny undies! =] But hey, take a look at some of her stage styles and see if you can create your own look!
